Yes good logic everyone. Because the Big Bang totally isn't real and it's obvious that the start of the universe just started because of a big man in the sky. You can't say "what started the Big Bang then" when you don't know how god started existing

There was no explosion, people. There was an omnivirsal 'wave' colliding with another, triggering our universe. Carbon dating.

I'm not going to argue for either side, but please atheists, do not feel compelled to argue to the ignorant, and while doing so belligerently slam their opinion, because not only will that shut then down to listening to you, but because that drags your point down and makes you appear the ignorant one. And Christians (or insert other religion) please do not make statements about a topic that you are ignorant of because you refuse to look at another side of a topic. The Big Bang was not an explosion from nothing, in modern physics it is seen as increasingly dense pockets of "gluon soup" that continued to merge until the pressure reached singularity, at which point release of energy started "atomic differentiation", which caused The formation of hydrogen. If any group of people can understand the concept of "eternity" or "too long to really matter" it would be you.

  • guest from Louisiana, United States 3 weeks ago:
Big Bang is science. Science can be proven. God can't be proven. It's faith. So the way I see it, it's faith vs. science

People can not keep clinging to the myth that there is a bearded old guy that created everything. That was made up by a crazy guy over 2000 years ago. Jesus was just some jerk that took something everybody belived in, and said he was the son of god. Come on people, it's the 21st century, grow up.

there is something to create it, it was one particle that was infinity dense with infinite mass that has always existed that started to rapidly expand. Maybe this is your god who has always been that is everywhere because he literally is everything.

the big bang created physics as we know it, and we simply can't understand what happened before it yet. But sure enough it happened, in fact, your computer is emitting remnants of the big bang at this very moment.
