No, your're the one who will be going to hell. Corinthians 6:9-10-"Or do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God?" Unrighteous - adj.: a person or conduct that disregards what is morally right. FYI, prejudice, bigotry, discrimination, to name a few are all not morally right, all of which would accurately describe your actions when you vote against same sex marriage.

Actually it does effect straight people....Here's the effects for you: : Massachusetts, which became the first state to legalize gay marriage on May 17, 2004, has the lowest divorce rate in the country. Its divorce rate declined 21% between 2003 and 2008, and to this date Massachusetts still has the lowest divorce rate, as per the most recent US census report. All of the top 5 and 8 of the top 10 states with the lowest lowest divorce rates fully legally recognize same sex marriage. The state with the highest divorce rate NV, and all of the top 5+ currently has a constitutional amendment banning it. 19 of the top 20 states with the highest divorce rate didn't legally recognizes same marriage. and most have a state amendment banning it. This is factual proof that fully legally recognizing same sex marriage is beneficial to everyone, both gays and straights, and that not legally recognizing it departmental to the sanctity of all marriage.

if gay couples need to have the same rights as heterosexual married couples, please dont call it marrige, because marriage is for husband and wife, by a God who wants it that way and no other. He loves people with a homosexual life style as He loves every human, but what is wrong stays wrong even if we all vote against that. And dont worry, i know that life is way more complicated that it sounds right here.

Regardless whether or not, you have a ceremony or have a church endorse it, marriage is a legal contract between people which is enforceable by government that grants them the rights, obligations and benefits of being recognized as one entity between them, between them and their children, and between them and their in-laws and between them and other third parties. Freedom to choose who you marry just happens to be one of those rights. The government doesn't give rights it's responsibility it to protect rights. By having marriage between homosexual marriage recognized as legal and protected by the government, including the right to decide to marry whomever you chose, the government is only fulfilling it responsibility to the all the people it governs. And too anyone who may try to say that the freedom to choose who you may marry is not a right of all marriage, here proof that it is, when a man marries a women they are not forced to be married by any outside party to that marriage and are not forced to stay in that marriage, they made the choice of their own free will, the government protects that choice by the fact that those and all rights, and privileges of that marriage are protected and enforcible in a court of law. And this is true regardless if one or both parties of that marriage are "sinners." Example: A man is a thief and a woman is a slut. Both would be "sinners" but the government does not deny them the right to get choose to get married and protects all the rights and benefits of that marriage. That is why A husband or wife cannot be forced to testify in court against the other, since they are considered one entity the right to remain silent applies.

    1) You by your Bibles own definition are not a Christian, "1 John 2:6 Whoever says he abides in him ought to walk in the same way in which he walked " because to be a Christian you must live your life as Jesus would. Since Jesus would not discriminate, someone who does discriminate would not be a Christian. 2) By your own Bible definition you would be going to Hell. Corinthians 6:9-10-Or do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God?" Unrighteous - adj.: a person or conduct that disregarding what is morally right. FYI, prejudice, bigotry, discrimination, to name a few are all not morally right, all of which would accurately describe your actions when you vote against same sex marriage.

I'm a Christian and I am Gay, and yes it's not a contradiction to be both, because nowhere in the real Bible did it ever say being homosexual is a sin. It's the biased mistranslations over time that have change words and meaning are. Which, by the Bible's own word, no longer makes what people claim to be the Bible not really the Bible. I know this to be a fact because I have spent over 20+ years learning Greek/Hebrew and studying in the contexts of it's self and other literature of it's time, it before it was grossly mistranslated. the vast majority of people that believe and or claim they are Christians are not because by the Bible's own definition to be a Christian own must live there life as Jesus would and since Jesus would not discriminate some won who does is not a Christian. Everything that Jesus did followed "The Golden Rule" and everything that was a sin didn't follow "The Golden Rule" ( Do onto other people as you would have done onto you, Do not do onto other people what you would not have done onto you.) Examples: Murders=Sin, You would not murder some one because you would not want to be murdered; Stealing = Sin, You would not steal because you don't want stuff stolen from you; Greed/selfishness = Sin, You would not be selfish since you would not want others to be selfish to you. Discrimination = Sin, you would not discriminate since you would not want to be discriminated against. Homosexual not a Sin when it is consensual, You would make love to the person who your are committed to because you would want the person who is committed to you to make love to you.
