Nah I'm Christian, I vote yes. And before I get one of gods degenerate asshole reject Christians saying "you're not a true Christian" go complain to god first and let me know what he says :D. If it effect you directly then fight (not your kids or someone else, I mean you as in... Well you), if not then shut the fuq up keep your hands and feet inside at all times and enjoy the ride.

How bout they marry who they want so the news can cover the hundred of thousands of missing children. The drone bombings. Joe Freshs sweatshop collapsing. Unemployment. The nations debt. You know sh*t that matters.

u have a point but it's there choice to cover the thing that don't matter. even if they do drop this topic, next time it'll be something more stupid. and just for the record just because u want something to end doesn't mean you give up and hop they do to. you should fight for it to change for the better.
gay people are the most retarded thing to come to planet earth. being gay is like a disease. also being gay is the worst thing in your freakin life. anyone who is gay is in my top list of people who are freakin retards. gay people suck.
what is the origin of your opinion, religion or homophobia? those are pretty much the only reasons why people oppose gay marriage. if its religion, fine, they don't have to be married in a church and be in "holy matrimony". let them marry legally at least for the legal rights attained that all "FREE" people should be entitled to. and if its homophobia, grow the f*** up. they are humans too and they cannot choose how they turned out. Homosexuality is not taught, homophobia is.
It's not like I'm saying they shouldn't be gay I'm saying that they shouldn't be married, mainly for religion, marriage is between a man and woman, a sacred seal, and that's what America is about. If they want to get married somewhere else then they can just not in America.
America is about freedom. Not religion. Many people may think that America is a Christian country raised on Christian morals but in fact it's not. America was founded on the principles of all humans being equal and being free. They should be free to marry legally just like any other couple in love. Religion condoned slavery, do you think slavery is wrong? If so, maybe your book of rules got this one wrong too. An all-loving god wouldn't have made them that way if he wanted them to be discriminated against. Also, if he did make them that way and they fell in love he should be able to see the love they share and not be worried about if they get married or not. Marriage isn't all about the religious background. If it were and there were no tax breaks, etc. for married couples then I can see denying gays to get married. But as equal human beings they should be entitled to all the same rights as any straight person without discrimination and persecution.
They can have the rights, just not the rights to get married. In fact, marriage is created by religion so yes it has to do with religion. Also, America was founded about freedom also was created as Christianity as their religion, nearly 90% or more were Christians, and the few of that mass percentage were the people that founded the united states. Religion didn't make slavery, that was the creation of man, people had the misinterpretation that other people then whites weren't equal and were less, that's because they got the whole thing wrong about that, it's not the peoples fault they were born as a different race. God gives us trials, and he gives us agency, we have the choice, but marriage is one of the many things that religion created, and america is basically Christian so, no, No gay marriage in America.
Maybe it was created by religion, but the country made laws surrounding the act of getting married, which was a mistake. They should have kept something religious strictly religious. Separation of church and state. If they hadn't made the tax breaks, etc. for married couples we wouldn't be having this trouble. Who gives a sh*t if they're in "holy matrimony". The biggest reason people get married is because either its their religious tradition, or for the rights they gain as a married couple. If marriage is religious only, then atheists shouldn't be allowed to marry either? And no, religion didn't make slavery, but the bible did give you guidelines on slaves. Exodus 21:2-6. Religion is a creation of man, too. Once you get a little more educated and look at your religion logically, come talk to me.
well once I'm older I'd be much more mature and educated that you're tiny brain would still try to talk back, even when you have lost the argument you'll still try to be correct, because you don't want to be shamed or humiliated in front of people and realize that your point of view was just a corrupt version of the real point of view, anyways this is my opinion and I was stating that.
I did win the argument, in my opinion, you can win the argument in your opinion if you want to, all is to say that what I know is different from what you know, since I cannot fully back up the words that I am saying since I have not learned the vocabulary or terms to use I cannot go any further then now into the argument because all you will do is say I'm wrong in everything and disagree with everything I have to say, but my opinion is my opinion so let's keep it at that, end the argument now with our own individual opinions.
1) Being gay is not natural. Real Americans always reject unnatural things like eyeglasses, polyester, liposuction and air conditioning. 2) Gay marriage will encourage people to be gay, in the same way that hanging around tall people will make you tall. 3) Legalizing gay marriage will open the door to all kinds of crazy behavior. People may even wish to marry their pets because a dog has legal standing and can sign a marriage contract. 4) Straight marriage has been around a long time and hasn't changed at all; women are still property, blacks still can't marry whites, and divorce is still illegal. 5) Straight marriage will be less meaningful if gay marriage were allowed; the sanctity of Britney Spears' 55-hour just-for-fun marriage would be destroyed. 6) Straight marriages are valid because they produce children. Gay couples, infertile couples, and old people shouldn't be allowed to marry because our orphanages aren't full yet, and the world needs more children. 7) Obviously gay parents will raise gay children, since straight parents only raise straight children. 8) Gay marriage is not supported by religion. In a theocracy like ours, the values of one religion are imposed on the entire country. That's why we have only one religion in America. 9) Children can never succeed without a male and a female role model at home. That's why we as a society expressly forbid single parents to raise children. 10) Gay marriage will change the foundation of society; we could never adapt to new social norms. Just like we haven't adapted to cars, the service-sector economy, or longer life spans...
It's against american ideals to limit a persons pursuit of happiness, even if they are homosexual. The government should not make gay marriage illegal.
The only reason why I'm so biased about it is because if gay marriage is legalized, then other people like pedophiles and zoophiles would want to be supported. The legalization of those kinds of relationships would only cause more problems. I'm not a homophobic, I'm just tired of all these problems in this corrupt country.
Pedophilia and zooaphilia are fetishes. Fetishes are completely different from straight, gay, or bi. Fetishes don't have to be acted upon while sexuality is not a choice. And if sexuality is a choice, then does that change the fact that you can't help loving who you love? No. It doesn't. And if at this point, if you still don't agree, it becomes a 'Your word against mine' thing, and why should gay marriage be illegal due to a 'Your word vs mine' when there's no reasoning behind it? Gay marriage, overall, should be legal.
Im christian but i strongly belive in gay marriage i mean whos to say their love isnt as strong as a man/womans love? God loves all and he would prob understand:)
