If you were trapped inside your own mind for the rest of your life, would you rather be stuck inside... (By alexm15 Male 2 weeks ago)
alexm15 says This is sort of like choosing between chaos and order. Option A: who you are and what you do is entirely dependent on the context and settings of your dreams. Basically, you aren't you. You are whatever character your dream assigns you to be. The upside is, since practically everything is generated at random, you probably won't be too bored... probably. If there are people at all, the people you meet might have genuine personalities; if your dreams have any sanity anyways. Maybe you'll get to enjoy living as something other than a human. Option B: You know who you are, and absolutely everything within your perception is under your control. Don't take this for granted. The only input in your imagination is your own. It may be fun at first, but you may grow tired of having no one to share your ideas with, unless you have multiple personalities that you can interact with and possibly assign as characters; but then, who's really in control? Maybe you're accustomed to playing all the characters on stage. Maybe you're insane.
