Should schools spend more time teaching more useful life skills (By SuperSaiyanGod2 MaleGold MedalGold TrophySuper StarDiamondBronze Crown 1 year ago)

SuperSaiyanGod2 says In school you're not taught anything about real life. You don't learn how to balance a check book, how to file taxes, learn about how credit works, how the political classes such as the democratic and Republican Party works out, how to budget properly, about the job market and I can name so many more... why is more time focused on learning useless things like Shakespeare's and finding the axis of symmetry on a graph when in reality 95% of people will never use it in their lives. Why is our so called "educational" system so much focused on teaching our young folks outdated or impractical things while leaving them ignorant on the key assets to make a good living? Please comment your thoughts.
