World would be too altered if Holocaust was stopped.
  • guest from California, United States 3 weeks ago:
if i could and was that old i would have killed all nazis and murdered hitler in a cruel and painful way
  • guest from California, United States 7 months ago:
    none
  • guest from United States 7 months ago:
ok, lets do this math, in 9-11 2996 people died and it improved our airport security. then 6 million jews, not including all the other genocided peoples, plus the people that died in the war over this, 10 million russians alone, if you chose 9-11, you are just uneducated
  • guest from Washington, United States 7 months ago:
Holocaust mightve been some horrifying, but 9-11 caused pointless wars
  • guest from Indiana, United States 7 months ago:
no 9-11 was worse bc it was an attack on our home country that started a war and caused about 99% of the current national debt and all able soldiers in all military branches to get shipped over seas. the holocaust was one crazy persons ethnic cleansing and he killed one person, himself, and also the holocaust was in europe. 9-11 was in this country right on our home soil. so 9-11 was worse then the holocaust
  • guest from Wisconsin, United States 7 months ago:
The last 12 years have been horrible for America, and it doesn't effect my existence, so yeah I'd stop 9/11. Who knows what could happen if you stopped WW2? I mean you know you would have avoided THE most horrible conflict in human history, for our timeline. It may have lead to an even more violent conflict later down the line.
  • guest from Tennessee, United States 7 months ago:
    wow
  • guest from New York, United States 7 months ago:
    9 11
  • guest from Florida, United States 7 months ago:
what happened in the holocaust than you won't be born for most were born cause it. So yea. I was alive during 9-11
  • guest from Maryland, United States 7 months ago:
imagine though u would mess up time and their could be no food or no drinking water from all the people
  • guest from New York, United States 7 months ago:
    niether...
  • guest from Michigan, United States 7 months ago:
    9-11 was entertaining
  • guest from Auckland, New Zealand 7 months ago:
but if you stopped the holocaust a hell of alot of things would be different
  • guest from United States 7 months ago:
I wanted to choose neither. sadly, that wasn't an option.
  • guest from Arkansas, United States 7 months ago:
Yeah, more trauma came from the Holocaust, but 9/11 was the one I could safely sstop, using time alteration rules.
  • guest from California, United States 7 months ago:
People forget if the holocaust wouldn't have happend the us wouldn't invent the atom bomb and Russia would and they would most Likely destroy the united states and China so they would become the next Nazi Germany
  • guest from Minnesota, United States 7 months ago:
holocaust jokes are funnier than 9/11 jokes
  • Kailin2013FemaleBronze Medal from Washington, United States 7 months ago:
oh god...i can't answer this one
  • oliviamSilver Medal from Clackmannanshire, United Kingdom 7 months ago:
the holocaust killed waaay more people than the 9/11
  • RaincollieMaleSilver MedalSuper Star from Tel Aviv, Israel 7 months ago:
Preventing the Holocaust would cause a massive difference in history in terms of families. Some of you guys wouldn't have been born if it was prevented.
  • guest from United States 7 months ago:
Imagain the world if we weren't scared the sheases out of us
  • guest from Maryland, United States 7 months ago:
First, you cannot answer neither to a question like this because it is a "would you rather" inquiry. Saying that the ideal answer is neither defeats the purpose of the question. Second, the nature of causes and effects over time effectively reduce the choices of the question to preventing 9/11 or preventing both. By stopping the Holocaust you change the course of actions taken over the next 70 or so years, resulting in a world where 9/11 does not occur. For people arguing that there is a chance you would not have been born without the Holocaust happening, the chance is actually 100% as the events leading to anyone's birth after the Holocaust would have been different and produced and entirely different population. As such, the question must be approached in the present tense of the situation, as if you were alive at the time of the event. Third, the argument that the developments that occurred as a result of the Holocaust were important and should not be prevented cannot be proved or disproved, as we have no way of determining what would have happened without the Holocaust, for better or worse. Thus, I base my answer on the pure value of human life, which cannot be refuted unless you follow some kind of non standard moral mindset. The Holocaust had a greater negative effect on human life than 9/11, so it should be prevented.
  • guest from Maryland, United States 7 months ago:
People need to understand the implications of their arguments; there is a lot of confusion of principles governing the topic.
  • guest from Georgia, United States 7 months ago:
    I DONT KNOW
  • guest from United Kingdom 7 months ago:
  • guest from California, United States 7 months ago:
9/11 united us as a nation. where the holocaust just destroyed everything.
  • guest from California, United States 7 months ago:
    neither.
  • guest from Michigan, United States 7 months ago:
SORRY EVERYONE! I didn't read it. I just chose the lesser of two evils. MY BAD!
  • guest from France 7 months ago:
Me neither, Anne Frankly it isn't very good is it ?.
  • guest from Mississippi, United States 7 months ago:
    NETHER
  • guest from United States 7 months ago:
For all of the people who say 9-11 wasn't as bad, I agree, but the Holocaust also formed boundaries for war.
  • guest from Mississippi, United States 7 months ago:
They are both just too great.
  • guest from Illinois, United States 7 months ago:
Without the Holocaust Germany might have won the war. It lost so many brilliant minds, able bodied soldier, wasted so many resources and faced so much more resistance both internal and external. Who knows what the cold war would be like. Stopping 9-11 might allow us to avoid a war, as heavy of an economic melt down and a lot of other world wide issues.
  • guest from Florida, United States 7 months ago:
    Neither
  • guest from Texas, United States 7 months ago:
WAKE UP PEOPLE!!!!!!!! THE ATTACK OF 9-11 WAS ON OUR TURF. OUR SOIL. WHAT HAPPENED TO THE "ANGRY AMERICAN." PUT OUR PEOPLE FIRST!!!!
  • EtellexMaleGold MedalGold TrophySuper StarGold Crown from Washington, United States 7 months ago:
We have been up for years. 9-11 was horrible. But so was the atomic bombs we dropped on Japan. WE EVAPORATED KITTENS. That is about as bad as 9-11.
  • guest from Ohio, United States 7 months ago:
im afraid the holocaust would alter history to much therefore i must pick 9-11
  • guest from Utah, United States 7 months ago:
I hate how much fuss is being made over 9-11, more people died in millions of other accidents.
  • guest from California, United States 7 months ago:
The reason we picked 9-11 was because its a RECENT tragedy. We went through it. We know how bad it was. Weve only heard about the holocaust
  • guest from Texas, United States 7 months ago:
neither, besides, Americans need to stop whining so much. 9-11 cant even compare to the holocaust
  • guest from Arkansas, United States 7 months ago:
    Niether heheh
  • guest from California, United States 7 months ago:
    neither
  • guest from Wisconsin, United States 7 months ago:
    I would start both. Skip

History would be altered terribly if you changed the holocaust.

  • guest from California, United States 7 months ago:
as an american, the holocaust actually helped our economy where as 9-11 destroyed it. I don't want this kind of power to choose who lives/dies
  • guest from Valcea, Romania 7 months ago:
About 3000 times more people died during the Holocaust than on 9/11, it's an obvious answer.
  • guest from Wisconsin, United States 7 months ago:
neither they helped shape history if one doesnt happen something will simply take its place
  • guest from United States 7 months ago:
    are u american or not

    Neither

    Neither

    the holcaust
  • guest from Kansas, United States 8 months ago:
some people would not be alive if not for the holocaust, I'm not defending it I'm just stating the world has gotten over it.
  • guest from California, United States 8 months ago:
Neither. Both shape the future in a specific way, and I know for sure I wouldn't have been born if it weren't for the holocaust.
  • EtellexMaleGold MedalGold TrophySuper StarGold Crown from Washington, United States 7 months ago:
So millions of people had to die for you to live?
  • guest from United States 8 months ago:
Nether-both shaped society as we know it
  • guest from Massachusetts, United States 8 months ago:
if you were to stop the holocaust, the world would be drastically different, and i dont want to take the chance that it would be worse. at least with 9-11 there would be less of a difference
  • guest from Virginia, United States 8 months ago:
what about the Russian revolution? Killed alot more people
  • guest from United States 8 months ago:
if we stoped 9/11 we wouldnt have very safe airports an planes
  • guest from Jekabpils, Latvia 8 months ago:
lol, you're putting 9/11 and the holocaust in the same boat ? ...americans are special apparently
  • guest from New York, United States 8 months ago:
9/11 was positive in a lot of ways too. After 9/11 we had more security in airports, Osama Bin Laden was killed and our country became more united since everyone was going through similar things
  • guest from Michigan, United States 8 months ago:
I prefer to not screw with history

More people died in the Holocaust ,cut would be saving more lives .
  • guest from Nebraska, United States 8 months ago:
too hard, no choice, God has a plan 4 all, i only chose to c comments

yea but people dont complain about the holocaust as much as 9/11
  • guest from California, United States 8 months ago:
    What das the holcaust anyway?
  • guest from California, United States 8 months ago:
However, the Holocaust was quite a lot of time ago. As a result, it may prevent many millions of influential people from having been born. 9-11 was so much more recent, drastic effects would not take place.
  • guest from New York, United States 8 months ago:
i just think the holocaust kind of opened our eyes on prejudice while 9-11 made us more prejudice
  • guest from Mississippi, United States 8 months ago:
    More death
  • guest from Idaho, United States 8 months ago:
Stopping the Holocaust would have way more unintended consequences.
  • guest from Germany 8 months ago:
Holocaust was gruesome but formed the world as it is now. Something similar like the Holocaust would've happened sometime anyway if it didn't happen. Comparing both evils, WW2 was the more important necessary evil. Therefore, stop 9-11.
  • guest from California, United States 8 months ago:
poor people in 9 11 i saw a video of them jumping.....so sad i wish we could go back to that day and somehow stop it
