There wouldn't be an Israeli state if the holocaust never occurred and non of us would be here. Not to mention that we wouldn't have the technology and the medicines we have today if it wasn't for the Germans. I'm not saying what they did was good. I'm just saying all things happen for a reason.

You don't mess with history. I'd rather change the least possible. If the holocaust never happened, Hitler would have lived a longer and more impacting life than he did. Think of the world we know today ran by a bunch of German Nazi's. Maybe the holocaust wouldn't have happened, but he would have still imprisoned all Jews that were unwilling to convert, maybe used them as slave labour for the next seventy years before a revolution struck out rather than a mass murder. Eff that.

If the Holocaust hadn't happened, the need for a new Jewish country wouldn't have happened, Israel wouldn't have become a country, the Middle East wouldn't have come to hate the US for supporting the displacement of Middle Easterns for the creation of Israel, anti-American terrorist organizations from the Middle East wouldn't have formed, 9-11 wouldn't have happened.

Neither, if I really had the choice. But I'll go with 9/11 because I was already born then, so at least there's no danger of undoing my own birth. Also, the Holocaust, because of all its evil and horror, caused a knee-jerk reaction which actually made the world a better place. All 9/11 has achieved is a few utterly pointless wars and an excuse for the US to spy on everyone and everything. I wonder whether the death toll which has come snowballing from 9/11 isn't actually higher than the purported 6 million from the Holocoaster.
