Obviously people are only looking at the casualties and not the fallout. The world hardly suffers anymore from WW II but we suffer greatly from 911

I voted for 9/11 because a huge event like the holocaust can change a f*cking huge portion of history in ways that we cannot comprehend. Germany might never have regained their economy meaning that the USA might have been in a more terrible depression than what occurred. 9/11 is more recent, and the only thing I can come up with is that we never went to war with counties in the middle east.

25% are Jew haters, the other 4% are friends of a victim or is a fellow American. But the Holocaust was worse. 9/11 killed 3,000, the Holocaust tortured and killed over 1,000,000.

If the holocaust was so long ago that taking it back would change the course of history. 9/11 would just eliminate immediate bad effects. The holocaust was much worse (the crimes against humanity committed are horrendous), but there's a moral to it.

Thinking about it though, doing either would change history so much

My reason for choosing 9/11 is because it was pointless selfish reason for war. but the holocaust was needed, as twisted as it sounds, for our right as a country to unify and to begin the end racial bias in the government.

I believe the difficulty is supposed to arise from the fact that we have a better idea of what would happen in a world without 9/11 than one without the holocaust...but still, going by body count, the holocaust was definitely worse.

I really must say that the people who are talking sh*t about those who chose 9/11 are rather dicks. Chances are these people are those who directly lost someone to 9/11, not someone they probably never met. Besides that, the holocaust had a lot dead, and if they were alive, there would be a much larger population then today. So either one is rather silly, especially since both are rather fixed points in time.

Without the holocaust I would be without a lot of good jokes. So 9/11.

5000 people or ~50-80 million people? (That number includes soldiers, jews, gypsies, from ALL countries)

Neither. We needed to learn from these events in our history.
