Reading is boring and takes along time, and books cost a lot. Maybe 15$. With $15 you can buy a movie ticket, a medium popcorn, a large coke, and a bow of candy.

Reading is hard when focus and attention are easily taken away, movies can be hard to focus on too, but they're more attention grabbing with their sound effects and music. I like doing both, but I've watched more movies than books.

A book takes longer to read, yes. A book requires you to imagine instead of see, yes. But isn't that the fun of reading? Creating a world that you can manipulate with whatever image you want for the characters? You are given a description, buy you can expand on that description whereas in a movie it remains stoic.
