communism: a political theory derived from Karl Marx, advocating class war and leading to a society in which all property is publicly owned and each person works and is paid according to their abilities and needs. It should be how hard you work (like it is in America), if there isn't incentive to work, you could just sit around all day and still get payed. It's a stupid system.
Actually, if you "just sit around all day" you wouldn't get paid. You would be expected to work the same amount of time if you were healthy, as other healthy individuals. If nobody worked, there would be no pay to give out. Also, rather than advocationg class war, there would be an elimination of social classes.
Yeah, you don't understand communism, that's not how it is supposed to work at all, people have the ability to take advantage of communism as much as capitalism, you did not mention the lack of religion and the fact that it as a whole puts emphasis on the community compared to the individual, I am not saying that it works, but you are clearly very ignorant by your question.
"For my part, while I am as convinced a Socialist as the most ardent Marxian, I do not regard Socialism as a gospel of proletarian revenge, nor even, primarily, as a means of securing economic justice. I regard it primarily as an adjustment to machine production demanded by considerations of common sense, and calculated to increase the happiness, not only of proletarians, but of all except a tiny minority of the human race." -Bertrand Russell
China isn't communist. If anything, it is socialist. Of course they call it communism... oh wait, no, they call it "socialist market economy". Hm.. Then how about the Soviet Union? OK, they were Leninist, and that was basically also a big deviation from socialism before that, as Lenin had that idea that the party should control the people, instead of the workers establishing direct democracy, as was the idea before that.. To put it into a perspective I think you will understand is: Comparing Leninism to other strains of socialism aimed at creating a communist society, is like comparing Islam to christianity. Sure, they both evolved from the same strain of thought, but one prefers a totalitarian system of control by an elite, and the other does emphasize plurality of it's movements a bit more. The closest thing to communism we got were Barcelona 1936 and the early stages of the Russian revolution, when the worker councils actually had some say, and not the centralized communist party.
I honestly can't tell if you're this ignorant, or if you're just a troll. The "Utopia" mentioned before is actually the communism which Marx advocated. This form has never existed in its true form. China isn't that Utopian communism.
I am a supporter of the true form of communism, which is, Utopia. Literally, this makes the true form of communism the most perfect system possible to achieve. Any other system would have impoverished, homeless, starving, or otherwise suffering members.
because their corrupt government would convince people that their good, so they join the communists, but they aren't allowed to leave, and everyone basically becomes slaves to the government.
The true form of fundamental communism doesn't have a government. Instead, it is a direct democracy. The people need no government because the govern themselves. The United States is not a direct Democracy.
Communism IS good for everybody.... I find it hilarious how people are brainwashed into thinking that Communism is the work of the devil... if you actually read Marx's ideas of communism, it is the most perfect ideology possible. The only problem is that the true form of Communism has never existed and most likely never will. Allow me to elaborate - Marx's Communism primarily stated that Communism would take place in industralized nations. However, up to date, only agrarian nations such as China, the USSR (which later became industrialized but dropped communism), and a few more Asian countries.
communism is the lazy man's fantasy world. You don't have to work at all to get payed. There's no incentive to work more. The government has full power. I guess it's good if you have no free will.
This proves you have no idea what communism is. Communism is where everyone works as much as they physically can and earn the same (meaning, if you have no legs, you don't have to work as long as a healthy person). You're only right on the incentive part. You're wrong about the government. In Communism, there is no government. None.
