    Mario can punch bricks, jump on things so hard they squish under his feet, and has awesome suits... with POWERS! Sonic can run fast, curl up into a ball, and do a super saiyan knockoff. I like both characters, but Mario is just plain better IMO.

    Sonic is the stronger character and would win in a fight since Mario needs mushrooms or caps to gain power while sonic is already strong, therefore sonic is stronger. However, Mario is better company wise since Nintendo owns Sega so to me it's a tie.
