    I'm utterly disappointed at how ignorant some people can be. I am a Jew and we believe that God loves ALL his children, no matter who they choose to love. Gay people should have the EXACT same rights as straight people. For all of you Christians out there, just take a moment to stop and think, what if you were gay? Would your mind be changed then? I suppose it would, meaning your perception of gay people is completely selfish. Just tell me this, does it make sense to you that a kind, considerate man can go into a restaurant with another man as his date, and not get served, and then God will damn them both to hell later when they die? Of course it doesn't because it's insanely and inexplicably wrong. Utah is a total disgrace to the country and I know there are people there who are pro gay rights, but most aren't. EVERYONE deserves to love who they choose, no matter if that person is the same gender or not. Like I said before, God loves ALL his children and it is extremely despicable to discriminate against people who are different than you are. It is no different than segregation. I support gay people FULLY and cannot even begin to understand how people possibly think otherwise. It boggles my mind. To me, that is what I would call a real sin.

While the rest of the body of your comment does some up the truth, the definition of a Real Christian according to the Bible is someone who lives their life as Jesus Christ would, and since Jesus didn't discriminate, anyone who does discriminate is actually not really a Christian and does not know God.

    I do believe God loves ALL his children, but also I believe God punishes people for there sins and I believe homosexuality is a sin. For example a parent loves there child, but one day there child decides it's ok to steal and steals something from the store. Later the parent finds out and punishes the kid, but it doesn't mean the parent doesn't love the kid any less.

    Yeah, and Adolf Hitler believed that the Aryan's where the master race and everyone else was inferior, but a belief didn't give him the right to deny the rights of others, and persecute them. The same way your belief doesn't give you the right to deny others the right to get married. You try to compare stealing as your example but stealing is wrong not because it is merely believed wrong but is actually proven to harmful to the one who did not have the decision to let the person who stole it have it. The person who's item was stolen my be a greedy person, which by many religious beliefs, considered a sin, but the person who stole is still wrong, because it wasn't theirs to take. Just as you are being harmful to homosexuals for denying them equal right, regardless if you believe it's a sin, it's not your decision make about who they love or to deny them the same rights when they make that commitment to the person they love. Would you want someone else deciding that you can't marry who you love just because they believed you should be married? I highly doubt it. Would you want someone else denying you the same rights they have just because they believed that since your gender was different that you don't deserve it? Again I highly doubt it. Both of those actions would be unfair and harmful, But that exactly what you are doing to others when you vote against gay marriage.

    I Have the right to believe what ever I want and I am not saying they can't marry Who they want, everyone are born with agency. But What I am saying when I am exercising my freedom of speech/religion is what I have been taught was homosexuality is a sin and I am just sharing that with the community. I feel truly sorry for you, that you have been taught wrong , and by your own ignorance, you have chosen to stay ignorant by not educated yourself with the unbiased truth, facts and evidence. Although you are correct you do have the right to believe whatever you want not matter how illogical it may be, just because you have the right to believe it it doesn't give you a right to deny others their equal rights. You also as you have the right to freedom of expression but that freedom is not an absolute right to say whatever you want. Your right to free speech only extents to the point just before it begins to infringe on others rights. If you expression incites actions that adversely effect the rights of others (such as discrimination would be) then it is no longer a part of the right to free speech.

Example: Definition of "ignorant" adj - lacking facts, information, and skills acquired by a person through experience or education, uneducated or unsophisticated.     You wouldn't want me trying to enact laws prohibiting your religion merely because I believed your religion was wrong and immoral, and merely because I was taught that by some fictional book I read. Although that is the exact same type of thing your doing when you vote against same sex marriage. Regardless of Science or whatever Religion you my wish to believe in, the only real way to be a truly good person is to apply "The Golden Rule" to every action you take. Examples: One would steal because one would not want something stolen from them. One would not murder because one would not want to be murdered. One would not rape because one would not want to be raped. One would not cheat because own would not want to be cheated. One would not discriminate because one would not want to be discriminated against. One would not tell other who they can love because one would not want others to tell them who they can love. Using The Golden Rule as a way to decide what is right and wrong can be both proven by facts and used to understand what God's law would actually be a sin or not. It would actually be the only True word of God as no matter how it is translated it stands the test of time and it's meaning in unchangeable.

Calling a person "ignorant" who states factual information shows that you don't know the meaning of the words you are using, "that book Christians call a Bible" is a fictional book, if you don't believe it, then go into any library and ask them what section the Bible is in (fiction or non-fiction). The last part of your comment that is re-posted, shows you lack comprehension skills, the phrase's more reasonable application would be to you and not the person that you are arguing with, since they have provided you with truth, facts, and evidence that shows that they have taken their time to become well educated.

LaFleur that the "freedom of personal choice in matters of marriage and family life is one of the liberties protected by the Due Process Clause.” Therefore any jurisdiction that does not recognize or enacts laws to prohibit same sex marriage it is commuting a Federal Crime because any such action is Unconstitutional.

    It's pretty convenient for you to associate it being "unnatural" if it the behavior is meagerly "believed" not to be found in the animal kingdom, but as soon as an unfounded "belief" is scientifically proven wrong and is proven to be natural, you change your argument to another unfounded radical extreme, which is the exact opposite of your original argument. Obviously using your new "logic" the same could be said about heterosexual relations.." Since animals engage in sexual relation with the opposite sex, Humans should not engage in this primitive animal type of behavior since we are more intelligent forms of life and are able to reproduce without the need to engage in such primitive behavior."

    Look, irrational name calling when your unfounded excuses for prejudice are exposed as illogical. So much for you being an "intelligent life form". And yes, you are the one being extreme, not me, when you go from trying to use an unfounded excuse that it's "unnatural" if animals don't do it, to since it's scientifically proven that animals do it then we shouldn't, that would be extreme since you when to the complete opposite excuse. (extreme,noun: either one of two opposite conditions) I wasn't the one that suggest an illogical idea the we should just act like nothing more than an animal, you did. Giving and example of how ridiculous your unfounded statement is, showing proof with scientific facts, knowing that discrimination is wrong, and seeking equal rights for all, are not extremes, they are the ways more intelligent being separate ourselves above being nothing more then just animals.It's call logic, facts, having good moral values, and justice.

    You should also familiarize yourself with "The Golden Rule" - Do unto others as you would have them do unto you, Do not do to your neighbor what you would not wish done to you. How that would apply to this topic is if you don't want other to be able to tell you that you can't marry who you choose the it's not right for you to deny other the right to marry who they choose. And if you don't want others to deny you your rights then you should not deny other the rights you you already have.

    I see your next to your name list name it lists both Armed Forces and United States. FYI, if you're in the Armed Forces of the USA, then you swore an oath to defend Declaration of Independence and the Constitution, and within the first several few lines it states " We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the Pursuit of Happiness."     Yet again your ignorance stands out. I never said you where in the military. You may want to practice your reading comprehension. The "If....then" is a conditional statement not an assumption. Although regardless of that fact, you should should be the one reflecting more about the second part of your statement and applying the golden rule to it. Since it is very hypocritical, if you don't want others to go around making assumptions of you then why are you using your assumption of others to deny them the same rights and benefits you have.
