I'm utterly disappointed at how ignorant some people can be. I am a Jew and we believe that God loves ALL his children, no matter who they choose to love. Gay people should have the EXACT same rights as straight people. For all of you Christians out there, just take a moment to stop and think, what if you were gay? Would your mind be changed then? I suppose it would, meaning your perception of gay people is completely selfish. Just tell me this, does it make sense to you that a kind, considerate man can go into a restaurant with another man as his date, and not get served, and then God will damn them both to hell later when they die? Of course it doesn't because it's insanely and inexplicably wrong. Utah is a total disgrace to the country and I know there are people there who are pro gay rights, but most aren't. EVERYONE deserves to love who they choose, no matter if that person is the same gender or not. Like I said before, God loves ALL his children and it is extremely despicable to discriminate against people who are different than you are. It is no different than segregation. I support gay people FULLY and cannot even begin to understand how people possibly think otherwise. It boggles my mind. To me, that is what I would call a real sin.

I am a christian and the thing is the bible says that we should love anyone no matter how much they have sinned. So im no hater to gay people. I'm not homophobic. In the past I have had friends who are gay or bisexual. I didn't hate them because they were gay. I thought they were cool because of their personality. But all of that still doesn't mean im for gay marriage. Because the bible says that man was created for women and women was created for man. Not woman for women or man for man. I'm only against the ACTION of gay marriage. So the next time you meet a person who is against gay marriage don't just think that they are homophobic haters.

Who someone loves doesn't impact you one way or another. If god wants to say no to it then let HIM say no to it. Let that person pray and see the answer they get. God has a personal relationship with everyone of us and you have no business budding into that relationship. If a guy loves a guy then let them be. how is that any different from loving a girl? love is love and love is between two people and no can get in the way of that if god wants to damn them then let god damn them. You haven't been elected gods personal helper. God can take care of things himself and everyone should just let it happen. Love is blind. If we're discriminatory to gays and lesbians then how is that any different to biracial couples? We are all just taking one step back. What they say is true. History does repeat itself.

People make marriage such a big issue. People shouldn't be married, they should be together, and that's the important thing. Marriage doesn't make your life better, being with someone you love does.

THERE IS NO GOD. Love who you want. We're born, we love and laugh, we die. Why complicate the time we have on earth with religious bull? Be pro gay rights. Be pro for anything that allows people to be who they were born to be so long as it isn't hurting others.

I am Catholic, and view any kind of sex outside of a traditional marriage as sinful but the law does not exist to prevent sin, it exists to allow people to live together without infringing on each other's rights. And just because I hate sin does not mean I hate the sinner, the Church should never change it's stance on sex outside of a traditional marriage being sinful or any of it's teachings just to fit in with the secular world but we should treat all people with love and respect as fellow people. If any two consenting adults in a committed relationship want to sign a legal contract to share all their stuff and have legal benefits let them, but don't expect any religious institution to change their beliefs and accept gay marriage as a legitimate marriage in the eyes of God within that religion.

They should be allowed to love who they want to love, without society making marriage illegal for them because society is uncomfortable.

I'm Christian and from Utah, but I think people can believe whatever they want and should be able to marry who they want. I truly believe this and I am not just trying to prove someone wrong

I am all for gay rights however I believe that if your religion says that gay people shouldn't be allowed to get married then they shouldn't. It's not the nicest thing in the world but getting married if your religion forbids it is stupid and it's as if your just tweaking to make it better for yourself. I for one believe that there should be no legal "marriage" for gay of straight people, only civil partnership for both as marriage is religious and civil partnership is not but it gives you the same rights.

I hate posts like this because then you get self righteous a-holes who support something so they won't be different from society...nobody follows biblical teachings anymore and it disgusts me...sure the bible says to love your neighbor and that he loves all of his children but when he said children he didn't mean all of the people who go against what he says and all of the people that live a life style that he clearly opposes...now you could say this is no times and yah the bible is outdated but is it really outdated? I truly believe that pro who follow a biblical lifestyle will be happier and will have gods approval and not all if the heathen sinnerson this earth that will except any dumb ass trend that comes up.
