    You said that it is to celebrate the birth of Jesus, spend time with the family, and GIVE. Give gifts. Nothing wrong with that. It's not really a holiday for everyone, only christians. For example I'm jewish, and we actually celebrate Hanukkah.

    I'd rather say Happy Holidays, but I have no problem with Merry Christmas. That is just the standard way for a Christian to wish happiness upon someone, and ,although I'm atheist, I take no offense to it.
