Although I don't know if I'd call him my best friend if he alienated me... 4 years ago

If I have everything in the world, I'm pretty sure I'd be able to pay off any debt. 4 years ago
Poker is definitely not all luck based, but a lot of it comes down to luck as opposed to a basically nonexistent amount in chess 4 years ago
I'm already good at relatively simple mental math 4 years ago
Poker is a lot more luck-based, and I've already invested a lot of time into chess so might as well 4 years ago +1
How do you measure how exotic someone is? 4 years ago
I'm pretty sure I've already been to B. 4 years ago
    best > great 4 years ago +3
Tension needs to be released, it won't just magically disappear by itself when it's on such a big scale 4 years ago
If this happened in real life I would easily be able to support myself and my friend, but whatever, my vote is the same either way 4 years ago
The girl in B has really weird eyes 4 years ago
I think this guy needs to stop making assumptions about me 4 years ago +1

They lost mainly because their defensive organization was terrible, if they still had Thiago Silva the game would have been a lot closer. 4 years ago
    Why? 4 years ago

I don't know how I'm being a hypocrite at this very moment though... 4 years ago +2
It was an example off the top of my head, but was that not one of the reasons why the Soviet Union fell? Because there were no incentives for people to work any more than the minimum? That's all I was trying to say 4 years ago
Equality of opportunity is when everyone has an equal chance to apply for something (more or less like jobs in a capitalist market), while equality of reward is where everyone gets the same reward independent of the work they put in (like in communism). 4 years ago
Nor does A prevent B. 4 years ago
If I don't know them 4 years ago
I support equality of opportunity, not equality of reward 4 years ago +2
It gets to a point where for all intents and purposes it might as well be zero, but it never actually reaches it and it certainly doesn't go into the negatives. 4 years ago +1
If you saw a person slashing the tires/keying a car in a handicapped spot, what would you do? 4 years ago
Well, more or less Greek. Heavily inspired, shall we say 4 years ago

That was really tough, both are great. 5 years ago
I would have so much more time to do stuff like exercise anyway 5 years ago
I normally do both, just pick which one to elaborate more on based on the concrete example. 5 years ago
Normally I don't even bother pressing skip, I just scroll past. 5 years ago +3
Easier to update 5 years ago
You'll live without it. 5 years ago +2
Excuse me? 5 years ago +4
    Genie > 5 years ago +1
The ninja has nowhere to hide, they would be unlikely to win. 5 years ago +2
Don't know much about Chinese warriors, but based on that picture... 5 years ago
"He's been in farming his whole life so as long as you got soil and water he'll find a way to grow produce" ... I don't think that's how it works 5 years ago +1
    Greek mythology > 5 years ago +1
Nothing is a waste. 5 years ago +1
Not a fan of traveling at all. 5 years ago
Depends on how far developed they are. 5 years ago +5
My family isn't immortal anyway... 5 years ago +1
I have A right now (Biology for anyone interested) and it does not help at all. 5 years ago
Does the date really matter when it comes to the future? It seems like people just arbitrarily decide what will be invented when and go with it. 5 years ago +1
Modern warfare is really boring to me. 5 years ago +1
Not necessarily, IMO. For example, I recently had a discussion with fellow fans on whether we would be OK with our team throwing a game so our rivals don't win the league, I said it would be petty and not worth our reputation, they said the game was pointless and the hate made it worth it. There's no "evidence" as such, just opinions. 5 years ago
Good question. 5 years ago +1
It is 12 hours shorter... 5 years ago
Some questions are ones of morality that don't have any "evidence" but can still have a right answer. 5 years ago +2
Who cares about Mars? 5 years ago +2
Not a fan of any of the character tropes. 5 years ago +1
I more or less do that anyway. 5 years ago
Oh no, I really wanted to punch a dead person. ?? 5 years ago +1
At least vampires have personalities. 5 years ago
    Why would I choose A? 5 years ago +2
It could just be another person at the door... 5 years ago +1
More than 50 innocent children die from diseases, so... 5 years ago
Something I don't want vs. something I want. What a hard choice. 5 years ago +1
Preferably ...Re8#, but queen works too. 5 years ago
Implying that soccer players can't be intelligent 5 years ago
Sure, it could, but let's put it this way: would you rather your kid spend their time in a school or in a prison? 5 years ago
I've been in the school system my whole life, and I haven't had any problems... 5 years ago
Why do you need understanding from your house servant? 5 years ago
one is a really biased point of view, the other is literally never true... but lol fox news suckz I'm so funny 5 years ago +1
It's the absolute farthest I can reach. 5 years ago +1
Not sure what's wrong with either of them... 5 years ago
Doesn't everyone consider themselves the protagonist? 5 years ago
    Yeah...but you'll be dead. 5 years ago
Completely depends on the situation... 5 years ago
Just because you do something when you're threatened doesn't mean you want to do it, it just means that you don't want to do it less. Think of it mathematically, where all the positive numbers are the range of "wanting" in ascending order, and vice versa for negatives. Say stubbing your toe is at -5, so you don't want to do it. But getting shot is at -100, so you're going to pick whatever is closest to "wanting", but that doesn't put that action into the "wanting" range. 5 years ago +2
And allergies... 5 years ago +1
What does what you are saying have to do with anything? 5 years ago +2
Do you really think that a fully functioning human being and a fetus are at the same level? 5 years ago +1
I've never heard anyone say "mind as well". 5 years ago +8
Wait, so all B is is me gaining a super power? 5 years ago +3
I don't know, it's a tough question. Probably an anthropomorphic version, but I have no idea what I would be... Maybe a monkey so I'm not too different, but I don't know. 5 years ago
I thought you meant it was just that you got 1000$ worth of that currency and it was just a choice of which currency you prefered, not a question with only one right answer (what is even the point of asking if one is obviously better?). 5 years ago
You get a 1000 dollars either way... 5 years ago
There's always been clear definitions of "attractive"... 5 years ago
Oh come on man, it's the oldest loophole in the book. You gotta know the basics... 5 years ago
humans are animals 5 years ago +1
By "A" I mean that I would stand up for myself instead of just walking away, not that I would later "get revenge" or whatever. 5 years ago
If you're the best player, you'll probably know the creator. 5 years ago
A penny wouldn't kill you, it probably wouldn't even hurt that much. Mythbusters did an episode on it. 5 years ago +8
Is it super easy 3rd grade homework, or does each assignment take 30 minutes? What is it, 500 questions? As far as I know 3rd graders are still on addition... 5 years ago
I feel like bad things are gonna happen independent of which door I choose... 5 years ago +1
Never said I have to turn it on. 5 years ago +1
I really dislike smoking, but don't think putting art like that would do anything to help and would probably make their resentful and want to smoke more. 5 years ago +1
    ^is currently in 5th 5 years ago +3
Quarters would have to be more than double the size of candy hearts for A to be worth it. 5 years ago
I don't like most of the things in A anyway. 5 years ago
Of course my dad loves me, why wouldn't he? 5 years ago
Those who deserve disrespect. 5 years ago +1
The Jabulani was terrible... 5 years ago +2
Right, but the consequences only occur because of their actions, so the consequences are tied to them as well. 5 years ago
It's either 1 (after which the box is no longer empty) or 0 (if the box is so small that even one apple won't fit). 5 years ago
Isn't K2 the hardest mountain to climb? 5 years ago
Well if there is a person who gets more blame than someone else, then how does this statement: "There's no such thing as "someone's fault"." make sense? 5 years ago +1
How is what you said different from the last sentence in my second reply? 5 years ago
It would have, yes. 5 years ago
People can predict what outcome will result from their actions though. Which, now that I think about it, changes my answer to the question, because the person who left the car could know that it would drift away into traffic, while the person who leaned against it had no reason to assume it wasn't in parking. 5 years ago +2
Really? You too? I thought I was the only one! 5 years ago +15
You can't just print money to pay for anything and everything... 5 years ago
"only for the actions which they performed." But those actions directly resulted in the car crash. Basically what the question is asking is which action contributed more to the outcome. It can't be someone's fault 100%, but there can be a person who deserves the blame more. 5 years ago +1
But the outcome would not have occurred if the people did not commit those actions, and whether the outcome occurs or not does change the question. 5 years ago +3
Neither, it's supply and demand... 5 years ago
Wanting to kill people because you don't like their music is so stupid. 5 years ago +3
Your options are pretty biased... 5 years ago +6
water dragon, earth dragon, fire dragon, blue eyes white dragon... 5 years ago
    no? 5 years ago
As long as they don't have STDs... 5 years ago
Do you mean the specific game, or board games in general? 5 years ago
I would yes. Would you yes? 5 years ago +2
Although a hard job could very well be a dream job... 5 years ago +1
I just added that day number and it worked, so... 5 years ago
    I'm an atheist and I haven't... 5 years ago
It's not like the press presents completely true and unbiased information right now. 5 years ago +5
Have fun freezing to death. 5 years ago
How could there be noises if there is nothing to make them? 5 years ago
But you can hear something from a room that you are not in... 5 years ago
    21/48 5 years ago
It depends hugely on where you live and who your friends are. 5 years ago
They would try... 5 years ago
Pretty much everyone has three cheeks, if not four. 5 years ago +4
More pleasure --> More desire to have sex --> Increased chance of reproduction 5 years ago
Of course it's for A, the pleasure is an evolutionary mechanism so you have sex and continue the species... 5 years ago
I pronounce it doje 5 years ago
Because checking to make sure they're really civilians would be a huge waste of resources... 5 years ago
I remember reading that the US spends more on its military budget than the next 10(ish) countries combined, not to mention a few nukes would be enough to take out the entire UK, while the US is huge by comparison. 5 years ago
What if they grab your leg? What would you do then? 5 years ago
She sounds like she knows what she's talking about 5 years ago
It's not like I would take the 3000 every time, but the fact that she's willing to give that much of her income is pretty great. 5 years ago +2
To be honest, I haven't done any research on this and I don't really want to, I was more just pointing out the flaw in your example (I have nothing better to do). But what you just said seems very unlikely to me, if raising the minimum wage was such a good thing it would have already happened. 5 years ago +3
When people are wrong but loads of other people agree with them. 5 years ago
Just because something works for one company doesn't mean it will work for the entire nation... 5 years ago +5
Your morals can come from yourself and still be influenced by others, the question doesn't mean that they're from you and you alone, just that it was more you than it was other people. 5 years ago +1
That's like saying Copernicus was wrong because no one agreed with him... 5 years ago +4
Wow, you put a lot of effort into this... 5 years ago +2
    Partially. 5 years ago +1
    How so? 5 years ago
There are jellyfish that aren't poisonous. 5 years ago +6
Athletes take baths in it, of course it would still suck to freeze your face in it but I would prefer that to never sitting again. 5 years ago
    It's just a cold... 5 years ago
It's weird as hell, but... 5 years ago +2
Depending on the class, but mostly B. 5 years ago
I'm not sure why either of them would be "racier" than the other. 5 years ago
15/20, although I disagree on some of them... 5 years ago
Tectonic plates are always shifting. 5 years ago
Technically, I'd end up doing both anyway. 5 years ago +4
    Source? 5 years ago
I don't really want anything lately. 5 years ago
I'd have to be pretty riled up to kill myself, so... 5 years ago +5
I am The Craftsman, apparently similar to Bruce Lee, Harrison Ford, and the Dalai Lama. I'm cool with that. 5 years ago
Love, intelligence 5 years ago +1
Nothing is 100% harmless. 5 years ago +3
Middle of Australia (no, of course I didn't last in the ocean twice before that, why would I) 5 years ago
You messed up your URL. 5 years ago
I haven't watched frozen yet, I need to though. 5 years ago
Your wounds would become infected and you would be extremely malnourished. 5 years ago +2
At the same time. 5 years ago +1
I don't have any gloves... 5 years ago
World Cup's this year! 5 years ago +1
You don't have to listen. 5 years ago
I've been to Russia several times and never seen any of that. It's there, sure, but regular people don't really get involved in it. 5 years ago
What do you mean? 5 years ago
I feel like whatever you pick, they'd give you a situation that would have needed the other object. 5 years ago
Picking the white guy is just as racist as picking the black guy... 5 years ago +1
If it's safe for sure then why not? 5 years ago
    what 5 years ago +2
Houses (i.e. families) from the show "Game of Thrones" which originated from the series of books "A Song of Ice and Fire". 5 years ago +1
If she actually would end up marrying him, then probably B, but it never ends up working out... 5 years ago
4 people(as of posting this comment). Wow, so many. 5 years ago
Completely depends on the actions. 5 years ago
They aren't rules here... 5 years ago
Agreed with your comment, the bombings would have killed less people, I'm pretty sure this has been proven. 5 years ago +3
Although this would really depend on the geography of the land; if there's a lot of rivers and lakes and stuff, then navy, if there isn't, walls. But navies also provide trade opportunities, which walls don't, so... 5 years ago
They have the same effect, but in one of them you didn't do anything bad. 5 years ago
Zero is greater than a negative number 5 years ago +3
The buses could all be empty at the time. 5 years ago +1
There's people a lot worse out there than him who aren't receiving nearly as much negative attention. 5 years ago +4
God his death was stupid 5 years ago +3
I don't even know if my phone can take pictures, so... 5 years ago +1
What is more exciting than a story about cutting grass? I don't know, everything? 5 years ago
If you could do anything with computers, you could easily earn a lot of money. 5 years ago
I'm not going to be staring at them while they're sitting right next to me... 5 years ago
I know nobody that I would need to communicate with using sign language. 5 years ago
I say it. And I don't mind being called on... 5 years ago
I'm one of those people who does A... 5 years ago
Do you pronounce things wrong in an Apple store? 5 years ago
    Wow. 5 years ago
Just because you're trying new things doesn't mean you hate them before you get used to them... 5 years ago
It was Genghis's children that couldn't hold it, not to mention he conquered a whole lot more of it. 5 years ago
There is literally no reason why a T-Rex would win... 5 years ago +3
We would all just refuse to do it ALA Peeta and Katniss. 5 years ago +2
There's nothing inherently wrong with generalizing at all. 5 years ago +2
Easiest question on the site. 5 years ago +2
    Didn't say where... 5 years ago +1
What? Insects are so resilient, even stepping on them often doesn't kill them, let alone a bit of water. 5 years ago
Imagine seeing something like the Niagra Falls when you're the size of an ant. 5 years ago +1
I have no clue what you're talking about, but I most certainly am not living under a rock. 5 years ago
    Tough one. 5 years ago
I remember reading this last year in Lit, thinking it was stupid and doing pretty badly on an essay on it. 5 years ago
At least in that one he doesn't have to die. 5 years ago
I know it, but don't agree with it. 5 years ago +1
Depends on what you're applying for. 5 years ago +1
You wouldn't be stuck forever, just for a long time. And no time is that long for someone immortal. 5 years ago
    Creative. 5 years ago
At least she used to make good songs. 5 years ago +2
    I love being underestimated. :) 5 years ago +1

Nothing wrong with being afraid of death. 5 years ago +3
that has nothing to do with anything though 5 years ago
    yes 5 years ago
"IF I PROVIDE A FULL LIST OF ALL AND ANY OUT COMES OF A TRANSACTION" Where are you getting this from? Both Boroglove and I just said that not every consequence has to be on the contract... 5 years ago
What she's saying is that the contract doesn't have to mention the material the pen is made of. 5 years ago
But at what point do you decide what's relevant and what isn't? 5 years ago
... Mind-control in common use of it, not simply influencing someone's behavior. 5 years ago
You can call whatever whatever you want, that doesn't mean anything though. 5 years ago +2
You can't ever know the full ramifications of your choice. 5 years ago +5

I think having roll play sex with a random person on the Internet and talking about sex in real life are slightly different things. 5 years ago
It's kind of weird, logically I'm fine with the idea of talking about it but I always feel awkward anyway. There are worse things to miss out on though. 5 years ago
I googled "plane crash survival rate", and it was 95.7... 5 years ago
No, I just don't answer. People don't have to ask questions I know the answer to. 5 years ago +1
The odds of dying in a plane crash are much lower than in a car crash or in fact any other form of transportation. You guys are imagining a plane crash as in a plane smashing into a mountainside, but that's almost never the case. 5 years ago +5
When I try to tell my friends the first one, they always say that thinking about killing someone's grandfather is really messed up before I can finish. 5 years ago +3

Homework definitely helps, the problem with it is that sometimes people don't need it to practice a concept they already know, so it ends up being a waste of their time. That's why I think homework should be optional as long as you do well on tests and quizzes. 5 years ago

Obviously your life would change, you'd be a different race... 5 years ago +13
That's obviously not the same thing... Imagine that you want to hurt a painter's feelings. Is is the same thing to rip up a canvas that he just started drawing on and to rip it up when he's almost done? That's not a perfect analogy, but you get the point. Many women don't even know they're pregnant until a month after they're impregnated, so they wouldn't be affected at all. 5 years ago
How developed the child is, killing a newly fertilized egg or a fetus that's about to be born is two different things. 5 years ago +2
Depends how long pregnant she is. 5 years ago +2
No, the combat was dumbed down with the flag thing, AngryJoe explained it very well in his video. 5 years ago

Just because it uses the internet doesn't mean it's on it on the internet implies (to me at least) that it's using a browser and therefore a website. But that's just semantics and I see what you're saying. 5 years ago
Yeah, moving your hands is probably very difficult. 5 years ago
What's on the internet that's not a website? 5 years ago

There is no way we'd ever need that many soldiers. 5 years ago
Although now that I think about it, wtf is the point of wasps? 5 years ago +1
She could have bathed. 5 years ago +3
No, it's not the same at all. A restaurant can only exist if people go there; if no one goes there, it won't make any money, and will go out of business. With a factory, you can't just say "I won't work there", because often, there isn't another job for you to go to. And your second analogy isn't correct, because the people are going to McDonalds, not Mcdonalds to them; if you want to use a land analogy it would be like people already moving to a dump that was previously uninhabited of their own free will, not the company dumping crap on inhabited land. 5 years ago
They're not a cause of it, because no one has to eat at McDonalds, and even if they do they don't have to eat nearly as much as a lot of people end up doing. As such, it's not McDonalds's fault that they eat there, so it's not ironic. 5 years ago
Don't like alcohol so it doesn't matter either way, but if I did it would obviously be prime. 5 years ago +4

They might not be physically capable of handling a fight, on average men are stronger than women. But if they pass the physical test, there is no reason not to. 5 years ago
It might be because grades are more important to people than sports, and with sports you can blame everything from weather conditions to the other team/player just being better than you. With tests, it's basically your fault if you fail, and some people don't like admitting their failures. 5 years ago +1
If you fall backwards into a bush anything with teeth or claws can hurt you, simply because you've, you know, just fallen backwards into a bush, but any full grown predator will not have problems with a child puma. 5 years ago

Are you crazy? Women can wear much more revealing clothes than men can, that's just the simple truth. 5 years ago +1
Wow! Why would they pick Heath Ledger as the Joker, that's a terrible idea! ... Wait.... 5 years ago +2
What? I never said women were whores, I said they have more leniency for being naked than men do. 5 years ago
No, this video is sexist to guys. Girls can be naked and whatever, who cares, but guys have to wear clothes. It's unfair! 5 years ago +4
Yeah, so would I, but there's no point in doing it and I'm sure there's people out there who wouldn't get it. 5 years ago
When it says "Would you rather/do you prefer" (which one would you not prefer to do)" it does. 5 years ago +2
It just makes understanding the question more confusing... 5 years ago +2
OK, why don't you just say "whose death was the saddest?" 5 years ago +4

Not in public places where they can hurt someone. There's no such thing as second hand scotch, after all. 5 years ago
I honestly don't know. I hope I would be able to do A, but I've never really experienced that serious of physical pain so I don't know how I'd react to it. 5 years ago
It doesn't really impact my breathing that much, that's true, but I really dislike the smell and if you breathe it in a lot you will get health defects. 5 years ago

Yikes, that sucks. The only person really close to me who smokes is my mother, but she does it really rarely and not where we can breathe it in, so it's all right. 5 years ago +1
The real problem with smoking is secondary smoke, asthma-inflicted people like me have an awful time walking around a city where there's a lot of smokers. 5 years ago +10
