War is good for technology. Starvation cripples technology. 3 years ago
Ignorance is *not* bliss. 3 years ago
So the question is: A. Die from asphyxiation. B. Be really cold, bored, and maybe get some severe injuries from the cold. 3 years ago
Honestly, heaven just sounds like your average dictatorship. 3 years ago
I could just, you know, call the police, and get them all arrested for invading my privacy. 3 years ago
While I do value knowledge very highly, it *is* almost useless, unless you have a lot of influence. 3 years ago
Well, I could obviously wish for omnipotency. I could seriously be the ruler of time and space. 3 years ago
Sentient life is more important than... well, non-sentient life. 3 years ago
I do not care whatsoever about some random poor people. Sure, they may die in their poverty, but why should *I* care? 3 years ago
It doesn't say anything about my loved ones not being immortal, but I will assume they would not be, and would eventually die. But even so, I would want to live forever. I mean, sure, I know I would eventually go insane from everyone I love dying, over and over again, and I would end up living in solitude, because I don't want to feel the same pain again. But even so, if I had the chance, I definetely would have chosen immortality. 3 years ago
It just says that I can not have a family or wife/husband. Thus, I can still have a loved one, just not have us be legally married. I do not understand how that is so terrible. 3 years ago +1
...Why would I *ever* care if I look attractive or not? Why is the majority voting for that, instead of intelligence? 3 years ago
If I win the lottery, the money will not last long. And, while if I do live twice as long, and no one else, I will see my loved ones die, it will only be 1-2 times, which I think I would eventually get over. 3 years ago
The more money I have, the better my life will be. It's as simple as that. 3 years ago
Why would I not want to be famous? It simply gives me too many benefits for me to refuse, 3 years ago +1
If I know when I die, I know how much time I have left, and when/how to prepare for my death. 3 years ago
...Why would I want to waste a whole day, just standing on a board in the ocean? 3 years ago
10,000,000 would simply not last long enough to be worth it, when I can choose to find true love, instead. 3 years ago
Isn't the other option basically kidnapping someone???? 3 years ago
It could be useful, while flying simply is not useful. It would cause far too many problems. 3 years ago
Do I even need to explain why I chose this? Obviously I want to be with the one I love, instead of some random famous person. 3 years ago +1
I would rather not live in a world where logic and physics are nonexistent. 3 years ago
A world without problems? Sounds boring. In fact, a world without problems is a contradiction, since that would be a problem in itself. 3 years ago
I will not be alive by the time of 2200, nor later, so I would take that chance to see what technology exists. 3 years ago
Why would I ever care about whether was at my funeral or not? I would be nothing but a decaying pile of flesh. I would not be aware. 3 years ago
I imagine that living without the internet would be like a dark age. 3 years ago
...It's just a sweet. It's not like it would be some sort of horrible tragedy. 3 years ago
...What reason would I have to go to some random tropical island? It sounds absolutely pointless. 3 years ago +1
I don't think the remaining 26% of everyone who voted realizes, but if you can change your age at any time, that is essentially eternal life. At the very least, you will never die of natural causes. 3 years ago
Really now, how would saving a random child you will never meet *ever* help you? At least a light saber can either be an effective weapon for self defense, or it could be sold for a lot of money. 3 years ago +1
