I can't empathize with other people. Some sort of personality disorder, so of the two I can only really use B.

Who the hell voted for B? I have depression and I can 100% guarantee you that B does not, nor could it ever, work. What people really need is actual medication to help them with their MEDICAL DISORDER. Often the only way to get them to go to a doctor so they can be put on the medication is to show some goddamn empathy.

    Personally, I don't want either.

Depends on the person really. Everyone responds differently to different things. I can imagine that I'd respond really badly to B but I'm sure it'd help other people

They are like Gremlins. If you feed them what they want they will just get worse. Don't give them attention. I am just so sad and hurting all the time. I must be the only one in the world. The world is against me. I can't have what I want so I must be tired and sad all the time.

You really don't understand what depression is do you? There is quite strong evidence for it having a biological basis a lot of the time. Obviously I can't speak for all depressed people but I'm pretty sure they aren't choosing to be that way.

They develop thinking habits which turn into physical habits because they are weak willed and have no self knowledge to know what to do if if something bad happens. They have the emotional state of a child. In the world as it is now they will accept this weakness and not get help for it. Many great artists have depression and will never fight it because it gives them a muse for their art. Which to me is just evidence of how dumb they are. It starts with "What is the point?", and ends with "Who cares?" "No one cares about me anyways so why should I care about myself." People like them would have died long ago but now we just coddle them and most of them will never change.

Like I said, you clearly don't understand depression.

How the hell does someone come to that completely idiotic conclusion? What exactly do you think they're going to do if you just let them continue on like that? Do you expect the problem to just magically solve itself? Oh wait, you clicked B, that means you seriously think being tough with them is going to solve the problem. Clearly it's somehow better to assume some stupid nonsense and then act on it. While some people are scientific, and actually learn just what they hell they're talking about, you'd rather assume that tough love works all the time.
