The Department of the Interior has reported that in a few months, Yellowstone will erupt. Basically, Wyoming, Montana, and Idaho will be rendered practically uninhabitable due to the eruption as well as a meter of ashfall. Other states will also see ashfall, particularly states in the west. This ashfall will likely kill crops which are being grown in the midwest.
