CatIover says Twilight is the period of time when the sun is 0 degrees below the horizon to 18 degrees. There are three different types of twilight: civil twilight, nautical twilight, and astronomical twilight. These occur when the sun is 0 to 6 degrees below the horizon, 6 to 12 degrees below the horizon, and 12 to 18 degrees below the horizon, respectively. Personally, I consider civil twilight as day and nautical and astronomical as night. You can't choose both or none.
