You come a rich white family in the 1700's. You and your family have a lot of slaves, but there is one you particularly like. You become friends with the slave. So, you secretly teach them how to read and write. One day, your father pulls you into a room. You see your family, and your friend slave. Your father asks you if you've been teaching the slave how to read and write. You admit to it, and he hands you a piece of paper. He also tells you one of the other slaves escaped and was tracked down, and killed. That note was attached to him. You read it, and recognized it as the hand writing as your the slave. It is a note saying that the deceased slave was a free man. You realize that your friend slave betrayed you. How would you feel/what would you do?
