Which of these following films should have a sequel? (By RazzleFratz MaleGold MedalGold TrophySuper Star 6 years ago)

RazzleFratz says Both of these films were flops at the theaters, but both had different reasons for failing. John Carter failed at the box office for a lack of advertising while Prometheus left you with thousands of questions that made your brain hurt. Sequels have a way of reviving interest and answering unanswered question and character development. Will it happen for John Carter? I liked the film and the books. Had Prometheus been advertised as an Alien prequel, maybe it would have helped. But no, Ridley Scott apparently just wanted to confuse us or he secretly let George Lucas write the script, which would be a big f*ck you to the audience.
