Hell no. A super fancy house in an ordinary area is just gonna attract lowlife people in that average area to break in and kill or steal stuff from me. An ordinary home in a rich area almost poses no threat because if its mainly rich people around me they'd have no interest in my average people stuff since they can buy literally anything and the odds that a random low life thief/killer is in that area are so slim. I'd get a beautiful view and a almost safe life. And not all rich people are snobs. I'd get to know a few and make a networking lifestyle from there. That is if they mean extraordinary as in wealthy beautiful amazing place.
