Dubstep doesn't come out of a piano..it's all about the keyboard cause at least they have technical cool unique noise systems unlike the boring ass keyboard. Mainly Dubstep comes out of a keyboard or can be. That's what the fuq it has to do with it!

Wait now you are confusing the hell out of me. Are you on the Dubstep or non-Dubstep side? I am on the Dubstep, lee$ is against Dubstep. When you said "it's all about the keyboard cause at least they have technical cool unique noise systems unlike the boring ass keyboard." I got REALLY CONFUSED. O_o

its cool! enjoy what you like. im just saying that dubstep is relatively simple music for simple people who tend to like whatever is being shoved down their throats by the mainstreem media. Mozart spent his life honing his craft and writing amazing music. skirllex's mom baught him a computer program and two weeks later he was making "music". if you can see the difference then im not gonna waste my time trying to explain any further!

Please read this whole thing so you don't ask about anything I said later. Dubstep is nowhere near mainstream, as it is actually most mainstream to jump on the hating bandwagon to diss it like you just did. Dubstep is nowhere near simple, for a computer can make way more complicated sounds and notes while instruments only make one. Then in your comment you assume that just because I enjoy a certain artform that is not generally enjoyed by the public, I am a simple person. Next, you try to petty up to Mozart saying that he "honed his craft and wrote amazing music". Of course he did I totally agree, but do you really think Dubstep artists don't hone, craft, write and passionately make their music (Dubstep is written too :O)? Skrillex actually used to be the lead vocalist for a band called "First to Last" before he used to be Skrillex. Lastly, obviously there is a difference between Dubstep and other genres. Is rock different from rap? You apparently can't seem to grasp the fact that Dubstep is not a simple music, loved by simple people, who like to get "whatever is being shoved down their throats". Look, most "mainstream" artists don't write their own music. In order to be a Dubstep producer you ALWAYS do. Now, look at most if not all pop songs today in the past 5 years. Autotuning, Electric noise, computerized bass, all of these things made in the computer are used in Dubstep and Pop. But there is a stupid sheep-following behind hating Dubstep. My advice, music is music. No matter what its made with its still music. Just because something is not plucked with a string, or pressed, its still music. Don't hate, appreciate.

people who make dubstep are creating a computer program. the computer follows the instructions and makes the music. lets say I have created a machine that can play any note on the cello. now I sit on stage typing in the notes i want it to play while the robot produces the music. Am I the musician or is the machine? At this point any Program that would be used to make Dubstep would have extensive fiiles that contain any configuration of beats and melodies. all the programmer need do is plug in the files in the order they see fit, you could say that the dubstep programmer is the person writing the music but they are most def not responsible for preforming it or making the sound and the quality. As far as the popularity and mass appeal of dubstep, it is rapidly becoming very popular. it is becomiong more and more prevaliant in the mainstream. Major labes are constantly using poppy sounding big bass dubstep beats to play their propagnad music over. this is undeniable. im sure there are some intelligent fans of dubstep out there, but most are just following the crowd of zombies as they crudely gyrate their pelvises to a hypnotic beat while simultaneously shutting down all other aspects of their conscious mind.

No, I hate him because he literally killed an entire genre. I had to listen to his CD in my friends car, garbage is an understatement.

But how can you call him responsible for killing the ENTIRE genre? It's okay to dislike him, but you're talking like he IS rap. Just because there is one artist that you dislike doesn't mean the whole genre is bad...

You obviously are listening to the wrong type of rap music then. Rap is not dead. YMCMB are not the only ones rapping.

It is dead, dead as can be. All they rap about is money, b*tches, "gangsta's" and cars. Back when 2pac was around and the lyrics actually meant something, thats all gone now.

Option A is Hopsin. He raps about the new rappers that do that. You have no idea. Listen to this song: www.youtube.com/watch?v=hRVOOwFNp5U. He actually has great lyrics against money, gangsta's and all of the things that you think rap is.

And it's okay to say that. I just don't like when people think of rap the first thing that pops in their head is that Lil Wayne sucks. What bothers me even more is when people who don't even listen to rap hate on him.

Yeah true there is a similar type of "hate club" that follows Dubstep as well. Its kind of sad that people can't see the good side of things.
